Developing and Maintaining Quality Service Outcomes
This training will provide participants with the opportunity to acquire both core knowledge and skills in the provision of quality assurance measures in community organisations. The contemporary manager and committee responsible for administering programs funded by government have obligations under these agreements to demonstrate implementation and monitoring of quality service outcomes. The event will include examination of quality assurances systems that may apply to your organisation and how to plan and implement the subsystem in your organisation. The focus will be on understanding and implementing a quality assurance system within the organisation. Training is delivered over one or two days depending on group size.

A Workshop on Action Research
Action Research is about making a commitment to take time to systematically think about and improve work approaches in actual practice. It is a qualitative process of social enquiry. The cyclic nature of Action Research assists participants to actively seek new approaches to service delivery and development. Through this training session participants will explore the following questions:
- What is action research?
- What is the value of action research?
- How is action research different to other methods of research/learning?
- How do we implement action research and include participants?
- What are some of the challenges of action research?
- Participants will discuss and practice the action research cycle
